Protocol updates
The work on integrating Polygon and Flow has started. This is the first step in our ambitions for the protocol to become multi-chain!!
The “My Collections” feature which was added to Rarible.com is also being added to the protocol. This means that applications/websites using the protocol can also showcase their users’ collections. They can then also directly feed in royalties if desired.
Project updates
The team released extended filters in the user menu. You can now filter NFTs that you own under “my items” by category, collection, sale type, price range, etc
Improved search: you can now search with abbreviations (e.g. BAYC instead of Bored Ape Yacht Club)
On the explorer section, if you select a collection, the filter of traits will be adapted to that specific collection!
Screensaver.world is an experimental NFT marketplace on Polygon which has joined the Rarible DAO ecosystem following the passing of this grant proposal. In the last call, we had Jacob over who introduced the project to the community.
Jacob started Screensaver.world about 4 months ago. It is a marketplace for glitchy and experimental art which has a focus on community and easy onboarding.
We’re super excited to have them on board!
Working group updates
Operations: The Operations group is currently looking into ways of improving accountability and reporting processes. Furthermore, we are improving our employment and onboarding flows. We want to make it as easy as possible to get contributors started.
Communications: The Communications group is expanding its activities and building out broader marketing activities. One target we’d like to reach is 10k followers on Twitter within 2 months (up from 700 today). If you haven’t done so yet, you can follow us and help spread the word!
Business Development: The BD group aims to increase partnerships and teams building on the protocol. This group is growing nicely. More on this soon.
Developers: The proposal for funding passed, and the group is taking shape. More on this soon.
We are looking for more contributors. If you are interested, please hop into the discord group, and let us know in the #looking-to-contribute channel.
New content on our Medium
This tutorial is meant to guide you in creating your own NFT custom smart contract that includes a built in functionality to always collect royalties when it is sold on the Rarible marketplace.
NFP received a grant from the Rarible Protocol DAO a few months ago. In this article the team shares their experience building on the protocol.
Thanks to Martin and the NFP team for their great contribution!!
