Protocol updates
OpenSea orders are now being aggregated by the Protocol. This means that one could now easily create a new open-source frontend that serves orders from both Opensea and Rarible! 👀
The team is planning to deploy the protocol to Polygon in the next few days!
Project updates
You can now purchase NFTs with a Credit Card on Rarible.com. You can buy an NFT directly, without initially topping up your account. 💳
You can now claim your collection on Rarible and set up split royalties! You can share a portion of secondary sales with multiple parties (contributors, charities, etc). Find out how here! 🖖
Background: CocoNFT makes it super easy for Instagram creators to mint their Instagram posts as NFTs. They’re one of the earliest projects joining the DAO and they’ve come a long way, their launch is around the corner.
Updates:
CocoNFT has a sick new homepage! 🔥
The team is preparing for their big launch with plans to onboard Instagram creators, including some larger accounts, keep your eyes peeled!
CocoNFT is currently running a creator contest. You can participate until the 25th of September.
Background: MintGate allows the “Token gating” of web content. Its infrastructure allows the creation of NFTs which can give its holders access to ‘exclusive’ content (i.e. links, videos, and any form of media). MintGate acts as a decentralized content delivery network (CDN), serving the gated content to the token holders. MintGate enables a completely new range of models for creators to interact with their audiences through NFTs. ✨
Update: Mintgate is adapting from a more centralized marketplace to being a SaaS provider. They will soon allow anyone to launch their own “Mintgate” page on a custom domain, with custom branding for tailored content, with their own marketplace, etc. More on this soon 👀
